Sorted and Nelson Alexander – Servicing Customers

The below information has been collated to help you understand and find information quickly on Sorted and why partnering with Nelson Alexander/Sorted will be beneficial to your business goals:

Purpose – Why work with Sorted and Nelson Alexander

  • Nelson Alexander has partnered with Sorted, who power a portal, to streamline the process for Property Management Maintenance, Leasing, Utilities and more
  • This enhances the experience for our customers (Renters and Rental Providers) and in turn provides our suppliers (our tradespeople) the opportunity to better manage work order/quote requests, easily invoice and communicate
  • As all our customers interact with the Nelson Alexander App/Sorted Portal, having trades onboard and joining the workflow only creates transparency with our communication between all parties and assists our trades in receiving and actioning work promptly

Benefits to Tradespeople

  • Sorted helps provide a better service to your customers by streamlining all communication, keeping the Property Manager, Renter and Rental Provider in the loop with scheduling jobs, invoices/reports, quotes and any changes along the journey
  • Improved cash flow as your invoices are loaded directly onto approved jobs for payment
  • Possible access to work for the whole Nelson Alexander network with trades having control over which offices you wish to receive work orders from
  • Quick Updates to suit your business -with email and SMS notifications regarding work orders, job approvals, and changes
  • Trade invoice automation – invoices can be inputted to Sorted direct from your Invoicing/Accounting System via email set-up (please refer to 'Sorted Invoicing')

What to expect

  • Email and SMS notifications when a new work order/quote is requested (Note: urgent jobs are highlighted at the top of your jobs page on the app)
  • Control over what work you do/who you work for. If a job request is outside of your scope or capacity, you are able to use the app to alert the Property Manager that you will be unable to complete the job request.

Feedback from current users:

"We have worked with Nelson Alexander for over 10 years now and not only are they a fantastic agency to work for, the recent integration with the trades ‘Sorted’ platform has made everything an absolute breeze for us.

We receive the job, can use the scheduler to notify the renter of the time frame for the job booked and can send notes, photos, etc to the Property Manager… It's been really useful in making the administration load a lot lighter on our end.

A new portal or platform can often be daunting to trades as it's just ‘something else’ to do… but it is very simple and user friendly!"
