What we love about this home:

We are so fortunate to have been the owners of 3 Frankston Street, for over 10 years. We fell in love with the house from the moment we drove past. We both remember walking in through the front door and being captivated by the high ornate ceilings and beautiful led light windows. We did and always will love the unique and original character of this home.

We’ve spent so many hours in the kitchen cooking up a storm, and entertaining in the back garden. After so many years in the house, our neighbors have become our dearest friends and it wasn’t uncommon to have a jar of home grown olives and fresh flowers left on our doorstep on a Sunday afternoon by one of the neighbors.

We loved a lazy Saturday in the garden, and admiring our day’s work, as we sat on the front deck whilst the sun went down.

What we love about this suburb:

We’ve really enjoyed living in Regent, the cafés on Regent Street have become our local on a Saturday and jumping on the 96 Tram on the corner of Gilbert Road and Regent Street is so handy.

Regent Railway station is a five-minute walk, and the institution that is Preston Market is not much further away. We had a lot to choose from when looking to shop with easy access to Northland, Preston, Thornbury and Northcote High Street and spoilt for choice when it comes to pubs, restaurants and cafés.

Why we are selling:

We have a love for the ocean, so we are selling up and moving to the coast. We would have stayed at Frankston Street otherwise.
