What we love about this home:
As a young couple, we were looking for a home that offered both an inner city lifestyle and room to grow. We immediately fell in love with 30 Daly St and still maintain the same emotional attachment some 21 years later.

We have always enjoyed arriving home to the grand façade and beautiful jacaranda tree that is not only visually spectacular, but also provides perfect shade from the afternoon sun in the summer months. The large size bedrooms enabled us to easily accommodate our two girls. Our favourite room has always been the master bedroom with the striking arched windows and elevated street outlook.

The cozy lounge room and open plan kitchen / living area are very comfortable living spaces, with our favorite past-time being reading the newspapers in the living area in the warmth of the morning sun.

The rear garden was also large enough in size to cater for the many functions and parties over the years, particularly as our girls were growing up.

When we renovated the house our aim was to maintain the character and warmth that the house offered, whilst providing a fresh modern living space. We have thoroughly enjoyed living at 30 Daly St and hope that the new owners have the same experience.

What we love about this suburb:
The neighborhood has a great feel from the tree-lined street to the friendly neighbours that made our time living at 30 Daly very enjoyable. The area offers a great selection of neighborhood café’s that have been popping up over the past few years.

Shopping in the area has also always been very convenient with easy access to Sydney Rd & Puckle St, as well as the Woolworths supermarket on Albert St. Public transport is also very convenient with the 55 tram just a block away for easy access to the City and Melbourne Zoo, and the 506 bus providing access to Sydney Rd and High St Northcote.

Going for walks through Gilpin park and swimming at the Brunswick pool have also been very much part of our weekly routine.

Why we are selling:
We moved a few years ago to accommodate our growing family and be closer to our daughter’s secondary school, and now need to sell as we have purchased a larger house.
