Owners Notes
What we love about this home:
While we’ve significantly upgraded the house, the heart and soul of our home is our backyard, where we spend many evenings. The garden was designed and built during the 2020 lockdowns, and it quickly became a source of escape and relaxation. We now love to entertain and often have friends over. We have a variety of native plants, and many fruit trees – apples, pears, apricots, avocados, lemons, limes, oranges – even pistachio trees!
We hope you love the home as much as we do and that it becomes the backdrop for some amazing memories, as it has for us.
What we love about this area:
We moved into the area in late 2017, just in time for our eldest child to begin school at Reservoir West Primary school. We instantly felt welcomed by our amazing neighbours and local community. We’ve never lived anywhere as connected to community as Kinsale Street, with a wonderful mix of established residents and young families moving into the area. There’s always someone willing to help with the little things, like watering your garden when you’re on holiday. The sense of community is never clearer than each Halloween, when our street is busy with hundreds of excited kids and their families.
The location is fantastic – it’s a quick walk to the primary school, Crispe Park, Regent Station, the number 11 tram, plus some great cafes and takeaways on both Edwardes St and Gilbert Rd, including the best ice-cream you’ll find anywhere. We love the area and will be moving locally, as we hope to continue being a part of our beloved Rezza community.
