A mid-century apartment block across from Royal Park has been transformed by Milieu into 17 modern units with a focus on sustainability and community. Collaborating with Breathe, a renowned sustainable architecture firm, and Acre, an esteemed landscape architect, the project took a thoughtful approach. Gas removal was handled by Goodbye Gas experts.
Renovated apartments boast new kitchens, lighting, and fixtures. A pleasant interior palette includes cork flooring and mosaic tiled splashbacks. The west side units feature orange accents, while the east side showcases lime green highlights.
Park Street offers shared amenities like a barbecue area, laundry rooms, vegetable gardens, and bike storage. These features are intentionally designed to foster community, addressing a common lack in apartment living.
Nelson Alexander is managing rental inspections for the available apartments. Move-ins are scheduled for mid-August. One fully furnished studio apartment will be offered through the Women’s Property Initiative.
The styled apartments for inspection have been curated with the help of Coco Flip, Monde, Ka Ra Studio, Sunday Salon, and Armadillo.
