REIA Awards 2014 - Wish Us Luck!

This year brings with it the 90 year celebration of the REIA (The Real Estate Institute of Australia – The National Association for the Real Estate Profession in Australia) and a nomination for Nelson Alexander in the national awards.

After winning the 2013 REIV Community Service Award for Excellence we were automatically placed in the running for the 2014 REIA Community Service Award which includes the winners from each of the state institutes. The result of which is decided on the 20th of March at a prestigious event in Hobart at MONA (Museum of Old and New Art).

2014 has already been a huge year for our Charitable Foundation. Our corporate volunteering relationship with Fareshare continues to strengthen and last month a team of staff chopped, diced and sliced in the Abbotsford kitchen to help prepare meals for Melbourne’s hungry and homeless.

The Foundation always likes to support the fundraising efforts of individual staff members who are active and passionate in their communities. This past weekend, one of our Brunswick employees walked 60kms to raise money for Women’s Cancer, and in April another Essendon staff member will participate in Relay For Life, an overnight community event where teams of 10 or more keep a baton moving in a relay-style walk or run to raise funds for the Cancer Council.
