Since the pandemic began several months ago, Nelson Alexander has implemented a number of virtual processes and safety guidelines and, although our doors are currently closed, we’re still helping our clients transact, albeit a little differently.
In Melbourne, Stage 4 restrictions have created questions for sellers - we’ve answered some of the most frequently asked.
Q. How can I arrange an appraisal of my home or investment?
The Victoria Government have taken an additional step to support homeowners and residential investors. A Nelson Alexander agent is now able to meet you at your property to conduct an appraisal and we would be delighted to help.
Our team are also available to speak to you via Zoom, Facetime, email or phone.
Q. If your office is closed, how do I sign the contracts?
You can now sign an authority via our virtual contracts. This is a paperless, fast and straightforward solution. Our virtual contracts allow you to sign an authority and accept an offer without leaving your home.
Q. Can I still sell via Auction?
Yes, as much as we miss seeing everyone on the ground on a Saturday morning, our virtual auction process has produced exceptional results for our vendors and has allowed our purchasers to continue the exciting journey of securing their next home.
Q. What are my marketing options?
Our Marketing strategy throughout the restrictions has been widely well-received by current and forthcoming vendors and ensures your property is shown in its best light to prospective purchasers.
Q. My property is due to settle, how do I arrange key handover?
Nelson Alexander has a seamless hands-free key handover process. This process will be advised accordingly for each property type.
How we operate through these restrictions is continuously evolving as further updates are released from the Victorian Government, but rest assured we will communicate these changes and how they might affect you as we learn more.
